The problem
Every year's YMUN identity got reinvented from scratch and forgotten by February. The 2025 team wanted something that felt institutional and current — legible on a name badge, striking on an A2 poster, and reusable by every committee.
The approach
- 01
Anchored the system to one editorial typeface and a disciplined two-colour print palette.
- 02
Built a poster grid that scales cleanly from A2 wall prints to 1080×1920 Instagram stories.
- 03
Designed delegate kits — badge, booklet, tote — that survive a weekend of coffee, edits, and travel.
The solution
A tight identity system — one wordmark, one grid, one palette — applied consistently across posters, badges, delegate kits, committee decks, and social. Shipped as a Figma library the next chair can pick up.
